Location and Origin:
Sipi Falls lies on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park, near the Kenyan border.
The falls are situated on the northwestern slopes of the eponymous extinct volcano, Mount Elgon.

Three Majestic Falls:
The falls are named after the indigenous plant called “sep”, which grows along the banks of the Sipi River. Local people use this plant for treating fevers and measles.
The three falls flow from different altitudes:
Main Fall: The highest fall drops from an altitude of 100 meters. It’s the last fall in the series and is slightly larger than the others.
