Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Activity: Arrival at Kigali International Airport.

Details: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and explore the city.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour

Activity: Full-day Kigali City Tour.

Details: Explore the vibrant city of Kigali, visiting key attractions such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, art galleries, and craft centers. Experience the cultural side of the city with a visit to the Nyamirambo Women’s Center.

Day 3: Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Activity: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

Details: After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, passing through the picturesque countryside and tea plantations. The drive takes about 5-6 hours. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy some leisure time.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest

Day 5: Nyungwe Forest Activities

Activity: Canopy Walk and Waterfall Hike.

Day 6: Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park

Details: After breakfast, drive to Volcanoes National Park, located in the northern part of Rwanda. This journey will take approximately 5-6 hours, with scenic stops along the way. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Activity: Gorilla Trekking.

Details: Set out early for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of gorilla trekking. Spend an hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and recount the day’s adventures.

Day 8: Golden Monkey Trekking or Cultural Tour

Activity: Golden Monkey Trekking or Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village Tour.

Details: You have the option to go on a Golden Monkey trekking adventure or explore the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, where you can learn about Rwanda’s traditions and history through performances and demonstrations.

Day 9: Transfer to Kigali & Departure

Activity: Transfer to Kigali and Departure.

Details: After breakfast, drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or additional sightseeing before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
