This 9-day safari takes you through some of the most iconic wildlife destinations in Northern Tanzania. From the elephant herds of Tarangire to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and the vast plains of the Serengeti, this tour offers an unforgettable wildlife experience, capturing the essence of Africa’s rich biodiversity.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Activity: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Details: Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your flight or exploring the town at your leisure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Activity: Transfer to Tarangire National Park.
Details: After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Activity: Full-day Crater Tour.
Details: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool and continue exploring the diverse ecosystems within the crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Activity: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
Details: After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge, the “Cradle of Mankind.” Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and incredible wildlife, including the annual Great Migration.

Day 7: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Activity: Game Drives and Wildlife Viewing.
Details: Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park
Activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari and Game Drives.
Details: Begin your day with an optional hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti at dawn, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. Spend the rest of the day on game drives, seeking out predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as other iconic African wildlife.

Day 9: Serengeti to Arusha & Departure
Activity: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Arusha.
Details: After a final morning game drive, fly back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will have time for shopping or relaxation before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
