Tour Overview: Explore Uganda’s most iconic destinations on this 11-day safari. From the mighty Murchison Falls to the primate-rich Kibale National Park, the wildlife-packed savannas of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and the impenetrable jungles of Bwindi, this tour offers an immersive experience of Uganda’s natural wonders.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Accommodation: Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa (or similar)

Meals: Dinner

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where your guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park

Travel Distance: 305 km (approximately 5-6 hours)

Accommodation: Paraa Safari Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. The drive takes you through the stunning Ugandan countryside. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls, where you’ll visit the top of the falls for spectacular views.

Day 3: Game Drive & Nile River Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

Accommodation: Paraa Safari Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Start the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you’ll spot lions, elephants, buffalo, and giraffes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise to the base of the falls, getting up close to the powerful cascade and viewing hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the way.

Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

Travel Distance: 370 km (approximately 7-8 hours)

Accommodation: Primate Lodge Kibale (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park. The journey takes you through rolling hills and lush landscapes. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, with time to relax and unwind.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

Accommodation: Primate Lodge Kibale (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After an early breakfast, head into the forest for chimpanzee tracking. The experience is thrilling as you follow these energetic primates through the trees. In the afternoon, you can opt for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary or visit the local communities.

Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel Distance: 180 km (approximately 3-4 hours)

Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, spotting wildlife like elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos and birds.

Day 7: Game Drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Embark on an early morning game drive to spot predators like lions and leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax until lunch. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive in the park, focusing on different areas for diverse wildlife viewing.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Travel Distance: 160 km (approximately 4-5 hours)

Accommodation: Mahogany Springs Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through the Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, where you can relax and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Accommodation: Mahogany Springs Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After an early breakfast, receive a briefing from park rangers before embarking on a gorilla trek. Trek through the dense rainforest to find a gorilla family, an experience that is both challenging and deeply rewarding. Spend an hour with the gorillas before returning to the lodge for some rest.

Day 10: Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park

Travel Distance: 260 km (approximately 5-6 hours)

Accommodation: Mihingo Lodge (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, a small but beautiful park with rolling hills, acacia forests, and plenty of wildlife. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. Enjoy a game drive or an optional boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Day 11: Lake Mburo to Entebbe & Departure

Travel Distance: 240 km (approximately 4-5 hours)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive or a guided nature walk before heading back to Entebbe. Stop at the equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon, where you’ll transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
